Boléro

Bolero for Saxophone Ensemble! I did this laborious project because I like Ravel’s Boléro, especially the arrangement done by Japan’s Mi-bemol Saxophone Ensemble. Moreover, historically, the orchestral version of this piece comes with a unique, meaningful, and interesting story behind implementing the saxophone. You can say that this arrangement and the recording are indeed a celebration of all the different types of saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, bass, and tubax)!

I want to thank profusely James Edel, our University of Iowa Music Production Manager, for his patience and endurance in recording and listening to the 21 times necessary to record (and edit) all the parts! And for his indulgence in letting me do that to him! Hope you enjoy our effort.

If you would like a copy of the audio version (single), it is available on all major digital music platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. Thank you for your support!
